Your future role

 

IMPACT30 is a multi-disciplinary transformation programme aimed at reducing development lead times and non-recurring costs, improving quality through lean development practices and driving modular, configure-to-order product strategies.

 

This role will support the deployment of Impact 30 workstreams at site level, ensure integration of new methods and digital tools into engineering processes and manage development performance.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Process Deployment: Implement Lean development practices and configuration management improvements. 
  • Tool Integration: Support rollout of Product Lifecycle Management for Alstom (PLM4A), Alstom Development System, and modelling tools for “Left Shifting” activities. 
  • Data Governance: Maintain accuracy and consistency of Impact 30 data across projects. 
  • Change Management: Facilitate adoption of new workflows and provide training to local teams. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track development KPIs, promote continuous improvement and assist route cause analysis where there are KPI deviations.  
  • Collaboration: Work closely with transformation stream leads, product directors, and PMO to align site actions with global roadmap.

  • Experienced in Methodologies definition for Engineering and Project Offices. 
  • Experience of Engineering Data Management, (DMA/PLM4A/Catia) and experience in structuring of an engineering bill of materials. 
  • Knowledge of Engineering Design & Project Way of Working (Development for Quality, Project Manual, Eng Manual) to interface with KU. 
  • Understanding of Industrial Processes (Delmia, GSI, AOS) for interfaces & co-engineering. 
  • Able to manage simultaneously curative & structuring activities 
  • Experience of working in a diverse and international environment 
  • Pro-active, anticipating Risks & Opportunities
