Your future role 

 

You will complete a two-year development programme whilst providing a tangible contribution to the success of the Procurement team in new build Rolling Stock, Services and Digital and Integrated Systems. During the programme, you will undertake a series of rotations around the function gaining an understanding of the business and Procurement process through Tenders, Projects and Commodity Procurement. You will also be given an off cycle project to develop your ability to define solutions and networking skills.  Developing your knowledge during your time at Alstom is key, along with developing your skills, experience and leadership mindset. You will work with suppliers and Alstom teams to ensure that the Quality, Cost, Delivery, Technology and Environmental (QCDTE) requirements of Alstom and its customers are met and exceeded.

 


This Procurement Management programme will develop the next generation of Procurement leaders in Alstom, who will develop our Procurement strategy and manage operational delivery to Projects placing you at the centre of our UK operations.

 


You will have the opportunity to complete on the job learning, which is complemented by a modular personal development programme. Supported by a mentor, you will be able to work towards gaining a relevant professional qualification.

Qualifications 

 

You will need a minimum 2:1 Honours in a Business Related Degree.

Travel to Alstom and supplier UK sites will be required, with potential travel to European sites.  Full Driving Licence would be an advantage
