Your future role
The graduate will support the Global Planning team in managing development, projects, production schedules, support site capacity planning, and resource allocation across multiple projects and functions. The role involves data analysis, coordination with cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will complete a two-year accredited development programme whilst providing a tangible contribution to the success of the team. During the programme, you will undertake a series of rotations around the function gaining an understanding of the business and the service operation lifecycle. Developing your knowledge during your time at Alstom is key, along with developing your skills, experience and leadership mindset. Within a climate of innovation, you will also support solutions to meet the customer requirements as part of the safety case and train presentation, support the identification and delivery of continuous improvement.
You will have the opportunity to complete on the job learning, which is complemented by a modular personal development programme. Supported by a mentor, you will be able to work towards gaining a relevant professional qualification.
Duties include:
- Assist in developing and maintaining development, project &/or production plans
- Analyse demand forecasts and inventory levels to optimise site and functionnal planning
- Support communication between metiers and site demand
- Prepare reports and dashboards for planning performance metrics
- Participate in planning meetings and provide updates on progress
- Contribute to process improvement projects within the Global Planning Function
- Support S&OP cycle activities, including data consolidation and scenario modelling
- Assist in aligning operational plans with strategic objectives over a five-year horizon

You will need a minimum 2:1 Honours in a Business related Degree.
