Your future role

 

As a Control Engineer, you will perform control engineering activities for one or several functions from architecture to a detailed specification, interface definition, wiring logic and software requirements.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Formulating a Low voltage and Software control design solution that fulfils the specified customer needs
  • Deliver all Train Control (TC) & Information System Engineering outputs including Functional Design Description (FDD) with man-machine interfaces, Electrical Schemes and Electrical Products definition (with the support of Electrical Lead Engineer), in compliance with the Engineering Quality Cost Delay commitments.
  • Deliver Interface Control Document (ICD) for subsystem participating in its function
  • Treatment of Change Request (CR) related to its function.
  • Ensuring standardisation and maximising the carryover or reference function with the previous project
  • Provide support for Supplier interface tests or TC&IS verification tests on PC or Train Control Management System (TCMS) Test Bench
  • Provide support during train integration, upon request.
  • Provide support during train validation, upon request.
  • Contribute to the return of experiences on his/her domain (Software, Schematic, Apparatus)

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical and automation engineering is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience in design & development software or using model-based development tools like MATLAB / Simulink
  • Experience in electrical and schematic design activities is valuable
  • Knowledge of network technologies and Ethernet and other industrial communication networks is beneficial
  • Fluent in English
