Operations and Maintenance Supervisor

APM Operations and Maintenance Supervisor at Denver International Airport (DIA)

Leads and manages the day to day operational and maintenance activities. Directly supervisies the assigned technicians in an around the clock operation.

-Manage and direct activities of technicians and/or to ensure maintenance procedures are completed safely, timely, and effectively while meeting customer expectations of service levels and availability.

-Make timely and responsible decisions regarding operational and personnel matters including allocation of resources, customer service issues, performance appraisals, employee development, and corrective actions.

-Coordinate the planning, development and implementation of recovery, repair and preventive maintenance procedures to maintain system operation. Revise or direct revision of above procedures when needed.

-Directly support the development and implementation of safety policies, practices, and operational initiatives that comply with all procedures, laws and regulations for automatic and manual train movements, and ensure compliance with same by all employees and visitors to the site.

-Train, coach, and mentor all direct reports, providing feedback and counsel as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, or other general field.  Equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.

- 3 years of experience in an operations and mainetance environment.

  Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

  Must be able to pass all required background and security screening at the site.

  Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

  Must meet physical demands of technician position.

Salary Range-  80,000 - 93,800
