Join us as an Installation, Testing and Commissioning (ITC ) Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Denver (CO), US.


The ITC Engineer is responsible to support customer acceptance in due time for the given renovation/modernization project, comply with T&C Work Package QCD commitments/EHS requirements and ensure REX is provided to Service platforms.



Commissioning & Test

  • Define clear and exhaustive Test Acceptance Criteria based on contractual requirements, analyzing, editing, and maintaining testable resources in DOORS and SCVM.
  • Create contract T&C documentation (tests programs, tests description, delivery planning, acceptance criteria, jigs and special tools, records, associated workload, and workstation organization.
  • Dry-run Test instructions (scripts) in the integrated lab to confirm the exequibility of that specific test case.
  • Track the lifecycle of the document since draft, until publishing in PDM, review with customer up to final approval.
  • Support inbound inspection and baseline condition test assessment.
  • Implement validation and certification type tests
  • Perform Serial testing Commissioning
  • Organize dynamic test runs including drivers, interfacing with customer as required.
  • Apply 5S at corresponding work areas
  • Support site in a trip scheme to execute field tests.



  • To comply with the project’s T&C QCD commitments, acting as Work Package Owner where applicable
  • Prepare and submit routine commissioning reports.
  • Support and supervise the global customer acceptance performance for the T&C scope of work.
  • To capture and report nonconformities and ensure they are properly managed and closed, liaising with engineering, validation, RAMS, manufacturing, and site Quality as appropriate
  • To ensure REX is fully taken into account and reported back to the Services Platform



  • Efficient and transparent interface with the Warranty/Maintenance Implementation teams working in customer’s depots,



  • Ensures EHS and AZDP rules are fully respected in the project T&C scope.
  • Report Deviations, Near-misses, and Accidents



  • Provide technical training to team members and customer if required



  • Bachelor's degree/Higher National Certificate (or recognized equivalent) in relevant engineering field
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in either Engineering or Signaling or on-board projects
  • Technical experience and expertise in test & commissioning
  • Desirable knowledge of DOORS, RQM, RTC.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills
  • Strong IT skills and use of diagnostic software
  • Management/leadership experience, able to motivate others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Logical, pragmatic approach


Specific Objectives:

1) Write Test Plans, test procedures, test reports for on-board tests. Log NCR in RTC database.

2) Analyze requirements in DOORS, to connect them to RQM test cases. Develop the test cases based on previous test cases and customized to the specific requirement.

3) Execute tests on-site supporting Rolling Stock technicians in the test execution. Collecting logs, doing the first analysis on-site of those LOG, working as the liaison with the Engineering Team for the cases that could not be solved on-site and supporting them in their troubleshooting.

4) Follow the document throughout his lifecycle until the customer approval.

5) Perform some trips as a flying doctor, helping the site teams to execute the test procedures he/she wrote.
