Your future role
Reporting directly to the Product Industrialization Manager, you will be directly supporting Production for the serial build metro rail vehicle. You will define and validate the detailed manufacturing processes, develop industrial documentation for the project, define industrial master data and drive continuous improvement actions and changes.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, improve and validate manufacturing processes for a new product
- Analyzing production workflows to identify areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Prepare cost calculation's for all workstation tooling requirement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process change
To be successful in this role you will need:

- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field)
- Desirable : certification in welding engineering (eg. AS 1786 8G GMAW welding, AS 2214 welding supervisor, IWS - international welding inspector, or similar)
- Relevant experience in Manufacturing background preferably in the railway industry
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and writing work instructions
