Your future role

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Site Train Design Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be performing the calculation discipline activities and producing associated deliverables in compliance with quality, delivery and cost commitments and applying Mechanical Domain instructions and processes. 
 
A bit about your new role:

• Performing Detailed Design calculation on internal sub-systems
• Preparing and documenting Mechanical Domain Design Reviews and Calculation
• Suggesting design improvements of calculated parts
• Applying calculation and mechanical design rules, processes and tools and ensuring discipline calculation deliverables quality and their acceptance by the customer within committed limits
• Managing production of deliverables in accordance with Planning targets on calculation discipline assigned zone
• Preparing and documenting calculation discipline report according to project schedule and following up on open actions

• Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products is preferred
• Experience in dealing with customers is desirable
