Could you be the full-time onsite Methods & Process Industrial Quality Engineer Position responsible for supporting engineering-developed Process Specifications on Preventive / Corrective Maintenance application of all subsystems at the Dallas SDC. Active involvement in safety awareness; ensuring compliance of (PPE) related to Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) standards. Adhering to final quality assurance standards for reliability and serviceability, the Quality Assurance (QAI) will support the Service Delivery Center (SDC) with also providing knowledge, support, and guidance in communicating the quality culture at the Dallas SDC. in Dallas, TX we’re looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and quality assurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and serviceability of preventive and corrective maintenance processes at the Dallas Service Delivery Center (SDC). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, operations and maintenance personnel, and subcontractors), administer internal audits and inspections, and contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures and work instructions, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring compliance with safety awareness and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards related to Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). ,

  • Adhering to final quality assurance standards for reliability and serviceability. ,

  • Supporting the Service Delivery Center (SDC) by providing knowledge, guidance, and communication of the quality culture. ,

  • Acting as a liaison between SDC Operations & Maintenance (O&M) personnel and project teams to ensure accurate coordination and execution of tasks. ,

  • Updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to meet SDC requirements. ,

  • Communicating with subcontractors, project personnel, and SDC personnel to resolve issues, address discrepancies, and expedite items to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted passenger service. ,

  • Identifying emerging concerns and developing safe working standards. ,

  • Serving as a liaison for Table Top Drills related to incident investigations and action plans. ,

  • Maintaining knowledge in Wayside maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and quality control to effectively interact with all three shifts. ,

  • Supporting engineering in executing tasks while adhering to quality-control standards and processes initiated by the Quality Assurance team."

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent field. ,

  • Experience or understanding of quality assurance processes, preventive/corrective maintenance programs, and process specifications. ,

  • Knowledge of office administration, bookkeeping procedures, and engineering evaluation processes. ,

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Site Informational Management Systems (SIMS). ,

  • Strong communication skills to professionally interact with cross-functional teams and personnel across all shifts. ,

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. ,

  • Effective organizational and time management skills. ,

  • Ability to adapt to unanticipated changes and work under pressure. ,

  • Flexible and creative approach to addressing challenges. ,

  • Experience in maintenance, rail, or transportation industries preferred.
