Join us as a Procurement Project Manager (m/f) and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role in Crespin, France.

 

Procurement Project Managers are Senior Professionals on projects that require full procurement attention as an integral part of a project core team to build customer products such as metros, regional and high speed trains, locomotives and trams. You be taking over a project that is in a manufacturing phase.

 

Your Tasks:

  • Establish, manage and monitor the Procurement Project Plan and ensure successful execution of sourcing strategies in allocated projects and implementing Generic and Standard Terms and Conditions reflecting customer contracts.
  • Manage interfaces between the Project and the PSC teams and participate actively in several meetings or steering boards to ensure project needs relating material cost, inventory, contractual obligations and performance are met.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and techniques effectively to ensure execution performance and continuous improvement e.g. Lifecycle Cost management, Open Book Costing, Value Engineering, Maintenance of Costed Bill of Material, Design to Cost.
  • Map project specific requirements, review and approval of budget and cost positions.
  • Manage and maintain material costing along forecast for project, divisional and management reporting, and drive cost improvement initiatives together with core team to achieve total best cost efficient solutions.
  • Ensures right inventory strategies are established and maintained serving customer deliveries with efficient cash management.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Preferably 5 years of Experience
  • Commercial or technical University degree or equivalent through experience, complemented by a demonstrated track record of success;
  • Sound expertise in Engineering, Procurement or Project Management, preferably in Railway Industry;
  • Excellent contracting, legal & compliance knowledge;
  • Solid level in Microsoft Office Applications, E-mail application, Solid working knowledge in ERP systems, eProcurement tools, Web-Browser, Planning tools MS project/Primavera;
