About the role

The (Senior) Lean Specialist coaches and trains Lean principles and tools to site employees in order to enable them to carry out Lean initiatives in their respective areas, encourages site functions to use Lean tools and methods in their daily work and supports functional improvement initiatives and suggestion schemes with Lean expertise and the right methods and tools. 
He/ she acts as a change agent to ensure employees apply Lean methods and tools as part of their daily work, ensures that improvement plans are up-to-date, PDCA is consistently applied and visualised and that Lean targets like Best Practice sharing, suggestions submission and Kaizen workshops delivery are met.


Your Tasks:
•    Supports sites and individual Cells in the process of becoming a Lean organization. Plans and coordinates assessments and ensures sustainment of progress and performance of cells. Supports cell teams in assessment preparations.
•    Trains improvement agents and site’s personnel on lean tools and their application on the shop floor and offices. Acts as a coach with agents in order to ensure know-how sharing and transfer. Responsible for the plant personnel’s development regarding lean training and tools, such as, 5S, elimination of waste, problem solving, value stream mapping, process mapping, etc.
•    Identifies non-value adding processes and critical process improvement opportunities so that they may be targeted for development and/or improvement through lean methodology. 
•    Supports improvement projects and action plans definition and execution, along with management, in order to meet targets. Manages and coordinates special high complexity initiatives execution in order to improve site’s operational performance and projects execution.
•    Supports the assigned organizational units in process management activities by identifying critical strategic process improvement areas in the business units that will be required to meet strategic objectives.
•    Partners with various departments and teams on critical, complex and/or strategic improvement projects. 
•    Supports the problem solving process and deducts strategic improvement actions from re-occurring problems.


Your Qualifications :
•    Preferably a degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, Business & Administration or equivalent; 
•    Min 5 years in a relevant role;
•    Working experience in Continuous Improvement, Production, Methods, Logistics, Procurement or project management;
•    Working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams);
•    Passion for leading change and for continuous improvement;
•    Demonstrate experience in managing strategic improvement projects;
•    Strong influencing skills to manage stakeholders at various organizational level;
•    French mandatory, English fluent.
