Do you want to join a world leader in the railway sector? Alstom Denmark is looking for an ambitious Trackside Design Delivery intern.


Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal - to upgrading the totality of its mainline network. Alstom is there to set their ambition to life and has started the implementation of the state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signaling technology, to the trackside and onboard the fleets. This technology is stable and secure, and it will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity. The Trackside ERTMS project is comprised of several lines across Denmark, called Rollouts. The Trackside Design Delivery Leader is responsible to deliver the installation design solution for the Roll-Out approved by the customer, respecting the project QCD, during the project life cycle. 


As a Trackside Design Intern, you will assist the installation design leaders on delivering the technical installation design scope of the Roll-Out and deal with internal and external sub-systems interfaces, reaching the performances required.


Key Responsibilities


  • Delivers the installation design technical scope of the Roll-Out and deal with internal and external sub-systems interfaces, reaching the performances required
    • Raise the project technical risks and build the corresponding mitigation plan with the Trackside Design Delivery Manager
    • Identify which are the applicable regulations in the customer country and ensure they are considered in project solution design
    • Build the input configuration base line with customer inputs for deployment of the solution by the DLU
    • Ensure reaching the contractual performances required
  • Assist the Delivery leaders on Roll-Out technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan for installation design activities
    • Day to day task, to manage the delay, technical, cost risk to the roll out commercial operation acceptance. And draft mitigation plan.
  • Deploy the Roll-Out installation design solution, meaning the customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance commitments.
    • Ensure the Roll out goes into CO on time (at least from an installation design perspective).
  • Controls the technical consistency through a strong engineering process management, quality, cost, and delivery approach
    • Ensure complete application of all Installation Engineering Processes
    • Contribute to claims and variation orders identification and development






  • Graduated in Software, Electrical, Electronic, Automation or Telecommunication Engineering.
  • Strong ability to communicate cross-functionally effectively.
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment and build relationships.
  • Capability to take decision


Language Requirement:


Excellent in speaking and writing in English.
