Could you be the full-time Test and Commissioning Engineer in Copenhagen we are looking for?

Your future role 

Denmark has set an ambitious goal to upgrade its entire mainline railway network with state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology. Alstom is helping to turn this ambition to reality and has started deploying the new signalling technology on the trackside infrastructure.

You will be a member of the V&C (Validation and Commissioning) team in charge of deploying and testing this complex signalling system. Your role will more specifically consist in supporting the deployment and testing of the components of the Traffic Management System (TMS) sub-system. The TMS is responsible for the schedule, supervision and optimization of the railway traffic in a controlled area. The SCADA system is built on Microsoft .NET and C# technology and is deployed on a complex IT infrastructure/datacenter

All about you

You have a Computer Science or Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) with specific training/experience in the field of Information Technology

• System:
  • Ability to work with Windows Server operating system
  • Server and Client Configuration i.e. Device driver, Network teaming, Patch installation, Cluster installation
  • Software Configuration e.g. OPC, process explorer, Microsoft SQL Server
• Computer Networking
  • TCP/IP protocol
  • Cisco switches and Cisco firewalls Configuration
  • Monitoring tool e.g. Wireshark
  • Ability to work with Microsoft platforms, in particular: Active Directory and GPO management, DNS, Failover Clusters
• Server Virtualization
  • Ability to configure Cisco UCS platform
  • Familiar with NetApp/HP storage
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server with Always On configuration
  • Ability to set up a VMWare environment in an enterprise datacenter
• Diagnostics Systems
  • SCADA Application
• Testing:
  • Preparation of test procedures based on the technical specifications
  • Execution of test scenarios in a complex environment.
  • Analysis of the gathered information, such as log files, test results... and assessment of the test results against specifications.
  • Writing test reports and possible anomalies.

Job location

The job is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

You will also travel occasionally to project sites during commissioning phases or for specific activities.
