Could you be the full-time Signalling Layout Engineer in Hvidrove we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to IXL & ETCS Trackside Manager, and work alongside supportive and motivated teammates.
Alstom is leading the signalling programme tender in Eastern Denmark. With roll-outs underway, we are expanding our team to meet the project's demands.
As a Signalling Layout Engineer at Alstom, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, focusing on creating signalling layouts for the Danish signalling programme.
We’ll look to you for:
- Design layout drawings, including the placement of signals, speed markings, and other relevant elements.
- Define trackside equipment and application conditions related to trackside engineering.
- Analyse and gather requirements from customers, safety standards, and other stakeholders.
- Provide input for headway calculations.
- In the role there is a lot of communication with our teams i Bangalore

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in transport engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in designing layout drawings and understanding complex technical requirements, simulations, and specifications.
- Knowledge on AutoCAD.
- Experience in signalling layout design and review for Danish or other European railways is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
- Structured, thorough, and detail-oriented.
- Capability to follow processes from start to finish and contribute to roll-out inputs.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Danish is a plus.
