Do you want to join a world leader in the railway sector? Alstom Denmark looking for an ambitious Safety Assurance Manager.

 

Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal to upgrade the totality of its mainline network. Alstom is there to set this ambition to life and has started the deployment of state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signaling technology both on the trackside infrastructure and train fleets. This technology will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project / system / product as per safety process defined in signaling Safety Instruction.
  • Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a safety perspective.
  • Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning.
  • Support tenders and/or RC teams to integrate product/system in projects.
  • Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases          
  • Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product        
  • Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews.   
  • Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors.
  • Manage (if any) of the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources).

 

Required profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in English
  • Mastering Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology & concepts/principles.
  • 5 working years’ experience in safety assurance, at least 2 of them Railway industry.
  • Structured and organized.
  • Team player.
  • Resilient (to pressure, to last minutes deliveries, safety issue management…)
  • Training capability in Safety
