Could you be the full-time Project V&V Designer in Copenhagen we’re looking for?
Your future role
Denmark has set an ambitious goal to upgrade its entire mainline railway network with state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology, and Alstom is helping to turn this ambition to reality and has started deploying the new signalling technology on the trackside infrastructure.
At Alstom, you will be a member of the Verification and Validation (V&V) team which defines the integration and validation strategy, deploys new baselines in the test environment and carries out the testing and verification activities on a complex signalling project. Signalling functionalities are tested in a factory on the integrated system composed of the three main sub-systems: Interlocking, Level 2 European Train Control System (ETCS) and Traffic Management System (TMS).
V&V activities are also carried on each sus-system, covering both the railways signaling system and the trafic management system used to monitor the traffic and operate the system from the control tower. As part of the V&V team, you will also be involved in different activities with the customer, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and other opportunities to work in the production environment in the Traffic Control Center (TCC).
We’ll look for you to:
Deploy/configure test environments (virtual or target HW) and implement test scripts.
Define and/or review test procedures setting up relevant acceptance criteria against functional requirements and operational context descriptions.
Define regression test strategies for the incremental project deliveries by analysing the impact of requirements and software/data modifications on the system functionalities.
Run the in-house integration and validation test campaigns.
Analyse test results (based on observations collected during the test and the evaluation of logs collected from the equipment under test) and produce test reports.
Execute verification activities including the preparation and review of verification reports.
Defect reporting and follow-up with designers responsible for the different sub-system.
