Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal to upgrade the totality of its mainline network. Alstom is there to set this ambition to life and has started the deployment of state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signaling technology both on the trackside infrastructure and train fleets. This technology will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.


As a Project Planner -Trackside, you will be responsible to develop and maintain the Customer project schedule, manage efficiently planning deliverable issuance and facilitate the synchronization of internal stakeholders with Project management team strategy.


Key Responsibilities


To be the leader for the Customer schedule management:


  • Establish the reference and to monitor the Customer project schedule
  • Ensure that the project planning baseline is coherent with the execution
  • To ensure the monthly update of the Customer schedule
  • Lead the project schedule sessions called by the Customer to explain and defend Alstom strategy
  • Prepare the schedule and to progress reports for Customer
  • Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
  • Propose a recovery plan to mitigate with any impact on critical path and Customer milestones
  • Lead the schedule related Customer discussions in case of claim


As a member of the BDK (BaneDanmark) F-Bane east Trackside project team:


  • Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholder’s commitments, manage the schedules interfaces with specific focus on the Alstom internal units’ and interfaces in regards of the project core team strategy
  • Lead the project schedule based on internal standard PERT, contractual targets and data provided by all stakeholders, in line with the integrated schedule
  • To provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
  • Organize and lead the periodic project schedule sessions for the internal team
  • Monitor and report the project follow up through schedule updates and performance dashboard, especially regarding OTD




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Senior project management (+5 years) with industrial background
  • Advanced skills in P6 and MS Project
  • Good experience in using Risks and Schedule analysis tools (Safran, …)
  • Progress monitoring through KPIs
  • Good knowledge of railway products will be an asset
  • Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker
  • Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment.
  • Be able to challenge project team and highly proactive in proposing solutions


Language Requirement:


Excellent in speaking and writing in English.
