Alstom needs you to support the successful delivery of these projects.

 

Could you be the full-time onsite Legal Counsel in Copenhagen, DK we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your legal expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates. You’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the large public infrastructure and transportation projects.   

 

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project managers, contract managers, and technical teams), provide legal and contractual guidance under Danish law, and promote Alstom’s Code of Ethics while adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Providing legal support and expertise to project and contract managers on issues arising from business activities with customers, partners, and sub-suppliers
  • Handling corporate law matters, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
  • Promoting and upholding the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
  • Delivering sound risk analysis and strategic legal advice to support decision-making
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts, including those related to construction, IT, and project development
  • Supporting the resolution of disputes through negotiation or other means
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address legal issues in a practical and solution-oriented manner
  • Advising on Danish law issues and ensuring compliance with local legal requirements
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of legal strategies that align with business objectives
  • Facilitating knowledge sharing and providing guidance to the Nordics legal team and other stakeholders

  • Degree in Danish Law
  • Experience or understanding of long-term complex contracts, such as construction, IT, project development, or similar
  • Knowledge of dispute resolution, negotiation, or teaching in a legal context
  • Familiarity with Danish legal systems and corporate law matters
  • Initiative to proactively provide guidance in complex situations
  • Adaptability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Fluency in Danish and excellent English communication skills
