Could you be the full-time EHS Specialist in Copenhagen, Denmark we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your environmental, health, and safety expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the Alstom Lifesaving Rules are implemented across all our activities, driving continuous improvement in EHS performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with project managers, site teams, and contractors, conducting workplace inspections, coaching teams, and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of risk assessments and EHS audits of contractors, but also support managers and teams in their daily activities on-site.

We’ll look to you for:

• Working with project managers to identify and assess EHS hazards and meet project documentation requirements during planning, execution, and review

• Being present on-site to support managers and teams in their day-to-day activities

• Training, coaching, and mentoring leaders and teams to independently manage EHS at their sites and within their areas of responsibility

• Monitoring and performing workplace inspections and audits, ensuring timely follow-up on action plans

• Ensuring risk assessments are completed and maintained for all EHS-related activities, with effective controls implemented

• Performing EHS audits of contractors in accordance with the agreed audit plan

• Participating in contractor reviews within Alstom and with contractor organizations

• Environemental, Health & Safety experience

• Equivalent work experience

• Understanding of ISO standards such as ISO45001 & ISO14001

• Good knowledge of EHS regulations applicable within Denmark

• A valid driving license

• Willingness to spend 3 days a week visiting sites, including some overnight travel

• Ability to independently manage your own workload

• Proficiency in English (Danish language skills would be beneficial)
