in Copenhagen we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your meticulous and organized expertise in a cutting-edge project environment. You’ll work alongside dedicated, detail-oriented teammates and play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and availability of project documentation throughout the full project lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Project Management, Planning, and Quality, as well as with external stakeholders. Using Alstom’s Document Management System (EDMS), you’ll manage, track, and distribute project documentation to support timely and compliant project delivery.
This position is part of a new project team in Copenhagen, with the first project starting in 2026, and you will collaborate closely with two other Document Controllers in the Danish office.
We’ll look to you for:
- Assisting the Document Control Manager in day-to-day project document control activities
- Registering, tracking, updating, and maintaining documents throughout the project lifecycle
- Verifying document metadata and ensuring correct templates, formats, and compliance
- Creating and managing document transmittals and document control logs
- Coordinating internal document reviews and following up with project teams
- Processing internal document control requests and retrieving documentation from databases
- Preparing documents for customer submission with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Creating placeholders and updating weekly/monthly KPI data
- Acting as a central point of contact for project documentation
All about you

- A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- At least 2-3 years of Document Control experience
- Preferred experience or understanding of document management systems
- Good Excel skills and experience handling large volumes of data
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
- A proactive, structured, and organized approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface with diverse teams
