Could you be the full-time Commodity Buyer in Copenhagen we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic procurement and negotiation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside sociable, flexible, and relationship-focused teammates.
You'll lead the sourcing activity for projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (finance, project management, global commodity managers), manage supplier performance and drive negotiations, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of running RFQs, setting up contracts in SAP, and reporting savings, but also facilitating discussions between project teams and suppliers.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining and executing sourcing strategies in line with project requirements

Monitoring supplier performance and managing initial issues

Running RFQs, leading negotiations, and executing Go-RFQ and GO-Order decisions

Reviewing indexation formulas with suppliers and finance annually
-
Ensuring effective communication and teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders

Applying Alstom procurement processes and contributing to continuous improvement

Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, engineering, project management, finance, or business administration (Master’s degree is desirable)

Experience or understanding of procurement and/or project management

Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles

Familiarity with SAP and contract management

Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
-
Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment

Proficiency in English and proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an asset
