Could you be the full-time Certification & Authorisation (C&A) Manager in Copenhagen we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your regulatory and compliance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside driven and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our vehicles meet the highest regulatory standards and can be certified and authorised for operation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, procurement, and project management), define and execute certification strategies, and align with independent assessors and regulatory authorities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing the certification and authorisation process for our vehicles, but also support the development of Alstom’s expertise in this critical area.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining the Certification & Authorisation strategy, including quality, budget, and planning

  • Leading the entire Certification & Authorisation process up to regulatory approval

  • Managing tender/project regulations requirements baseline

  • Coordinating with independent assessors and relevant authorities

  • Planning and consolidating evidence documents for submission

  • Ensuring compliance of all evidences before submission

  • Developing strong relationships with assessors and authorities

  • Following and communicating regulatory and standards changes

  • Managing modifications and configurations of certified/authorised products

  • Providing Certification & Authorisation expertise within Alstom

  • Degree in engineering, transportation, or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of regulatory certification and authorisation processes

  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, such as TSIs and national rules

  • Familiarity with working alongside independent assessors and regulatory bodies

  • A project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
