Could you be the full-time Traction Test Laboratory Engineer in Coimbatore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and innovative expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of test benches for traction validation projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (metrology, validation engineers, skill leaders, and suppliers), manage technical deliverables, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
You’ll specifically take care of specifying and designing test benches and devices for CAPEX requirements, but also managing their commissioning and maintenance.
We’ll look to you for:
- Specifying and designing test benches (hardware and software) for validation and investigation activities
- Managing test bench production and ensuring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) objectives are met
- Commissioning and receiving test benches
- Specifying and performing maintenance of test devices
- Producing complete technical documentation for all deliverables
- Ensuring compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) rules, including "LockOut- TagOut" implementation
- Capitalizing on REX (Return of Experience) in accordance with the Skill Leader process

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Experience 5+years in specifying and designing test benches and devices for validation purposes
- Knowledge of validation test requirements and troubleshooting methods
- Familiarity with technical documentation and reporting
- Understanding of EHS rules and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage validation schedules and optimize test sequences
