About Alstom in India

Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation.   • Tool crib Management: manage, Receives, stores, and issues tools in industrial establishment:
  • Maintains records of tools issued and returned.
  • Calibration and inventory management.
  • Deploy Cost saving initiatives in Tools


  • Manage, Receives, stores, and issues tools in industrial establishment:
  • Maintains records of tools issued and returned
  • Knowledge on SAP and E Pass process for tools procurement.
  • Periodic tools calibration management and reporting.
  • Identify and implement innovation in tools
  • Implement ideas for cost saving in tools thro alternate sourcing/alternate technical solution
  • Periodic tools Inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Repairs, services, and lubricates tools during the calibration process..
  • identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
  • Reporting the Weekly dash for Opex Status.
  • Reporting the Weekly Dashboard for New tools requirement from PRIM’s
  • 5S management in Tool crib office.


Qualifications & Skills:



B.E Mechanical /industrial Engineering


  •  Analytical Skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Negotiation skills
      • Follow-up skills 


Industrial process, Mechanical assembly process, Harness manufacturing process,

5 to 6 year in Tooling Management.

  • EMFU (Tools Request and Procurement)Adhérence on time 100%
  • Calibration Plan Vs actual
  • Inventory management
  • Opex Adhérence and tools cost reduction by localization
