Could you be the full-time Project Quality Engineer in Coimbatore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll make a meaningful impact by ensuring the quality and safety of sub-system installation activities, contributing to the delivery of reliable and high-performing transport solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Industrial, Procurement, Project Management), manage interfaces with customer representatives, and guide installation teams on quality and safety processes, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of establishing and implementing Quality Installation Control Plans, but also leading continuous improvement activities at the sub-system installation level.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing interfaces with customer representatives for sub-system scope

Guiding installation teams on quality and safety contributions
-
Establishing, validating, and updating Quality Installation Control Plans

Ensuring proper application and traceability of quality documents and records
-
Leading quality awareness sessions and training for installation teams
-
Driving continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
-
Performing and participating in site quality inspections and customer joint inspections
-
Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensuring timely closure
-
Supporting the PrQSM in reporting quality KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities

Collaborating with suppliers to manage quality control of supplied installation materials

B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering (EEE, Electronics)

Experience or understanding of quality management processes and tools (e.g., 8D, QRQC)

Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001 and IRIS
-
Familiarity with reading drawings, specifications, and test equipment
-
A Special Process Qualification (minimum Level 1 according to Quality Academy criteria)

Technical knowledge of railway products
-
Good communication skills in English
