Could you be the full-time Industrial Engineer in Coimbatore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive Industrial Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates.
You'll define, measure, analyze, and deploy reduction plans for process times, ensuring efficiency and productivity in our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Process Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Supply Chain, etc.), coordinate with HR for factory layout approval, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and contributing to MTM Datacards for new processes, lead site-level VSM workshops, and implement EHS & ergonomic improvements, but also manage indirect suppliers to meet organizational needs.
We’ll look to you for:

Supporting the Bids & Tenders team with Method time Estimate data

Defining Manufacturing Routing tasks and sequences
-
Leading continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes

Performing EHS & Ergonomics analysis and implementing action plans
-
Driving continuous improvements in method time and spent time
-
Training industrial teams on industrial times & ergonomics

A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

Proficiency in English and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and common IT tools

Knowledge of AutoCAD

A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred)

A minimum of 8 years of industrial experience in the Auto or railway industry
-
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
-
Project management skills
