Could you be the full-time Transportation Performance & Transformation Reporting Specialist in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Sorin Iovu (Cluster Operations Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside dedicated, proactive and value-oriented teammates.

 

The position is part of the Global Transportation organization, based in Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

 

The Transportation Performance & Transformation Reporting Specialist supports and facilitates the transformation of Alstom transportation organization in line with the Global Transportation strategy, ensures the performance of Global Transportation by focusing on performance management, processes, tools, projects and management of business relationship, initiates and drives continuous improvement in relevant responsibilities using standard KPIs and contributes to Procurement & Supply Chain activities and network, and across functions.

 

We’ll look to you for:

Reporting and continuous improvement:

  • Keep a strong focus on system data quality, define and oversee system consistency checks, prioritize, and coordinate data alignment with the Transport Control Towers, offer support and ensure high level of KPI knowledge & data convergence mechanisms;
  • Supervise the day-to-day accuracy of the data provided by the Transport Control Towers;
  • Responsible for ensuring reporting data quality, conducts checks and implements actions to correct information together with Transport Control Towers management & key users;
  • Ensure Global Transportation Performance reporting on a weekly and monthly basis, in order to address performance issues and action plans;
  • Responsible for consolidating diverse information and KPIs to provide a consolidated view;
  • Support with ad-hoc requests.

 

Governance:

  • Organize regular and ad-hoc calls to address discrepancies in reporting results;
  • Coordinate data alignment & correction activities, facilitate decision making within the Transport function.

 

Process & Systems support:

  • Master data maintenance;
  • User guides creation & updates;
  • User training (face to face or remotely);
  • Deployment kits creation & maintenance;
  • First Level Support.

 

Change management & transformation projects:

  • Run transformation projects tasks to ensure project on-time-delivery;
  • Support & coordinate actions with sites, and external partners;
  • Facilitate adherence to project by showing the added value of the initiatives.

 

Automation:

  • Look for ways to simplify and automate reporting, eliminating manual work and modifications;
  • Take actions to improve data accuracy;
  • Support other colleagues in department with automation suggestions.

  • Degree level qualification;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Solid experience working with large databases;
  • Strong data crunching and data visualization skills, automation mindset, interested in information technologies and the usage of tools;
  • Proficient in using MS Office suite & applications (XLS, PPT, WORD); Experience with web-applications and collaboration tools (SharePoint)
  • Good knowledge of procurement/supply chain management processes;
  • Solid Change management skills to move change through the organization;
  • Solid Project Management skills;
  • Leader in continuous improvement;
  • Previous experience with BI Tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Power Apps, etc) is an advantage;
  • Python knowledge represent an advantage.
