Could you be the full-time Site Manager for the Projects in  Cluj we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

You'll be responsible for all Alstom Sub Systems’ Construction and Installation activities in support to the Project Manager ensuring application of the project’s strategy and compliance with Alstom’ strategy, policies, standards, local regulations and professional standards.

 

Supervise  Installation and Test and Commissioning activities related to Signaling & Telecom System from Railways  D&IS Cluj-Episcopia Lot 1&2 Project  :

  • ­Dismantling works preparation of existing Signaling and telecom and Power Supply equipment according with execution stages;
  • Works preparation  excavation foundations and erections of signals masts.
  • Works preparation  equipment installing for indoor and outdoor signaling
  • ­Works preparation for test and commissioning
  • Work Methods preparation

 Specific responsibilities of the role:

  • Plan and manage the operations of survey to be settled before starting the works
  • Manage interface with the client about schedule:
    • availability of track
    • entry / exit / access to the track of the rail/road equipments, and parking areas of the trains for works
  • Attends to the meetings (work progress and coordination).
  • Supervise the works, including tests and commissioning to be realized before energizing the equipments
  • Manage and control the Subcontractors performance as per their Subcontracts obligations
  • Ensure that subcontractor site team is efficient and sufficient
  • Manage general weekly and daily schedules
  • Collect and sign all teams daily reports
  • Asigură respectarea procedurilor de instalare, respectiv cele de testare şi punere în funcţiune / Ensure that installation and T&C procedures are followed
  • Ensures that rehabilitation installations comply with the technical documents.
  • Collect , check and sign related progress and quality site records
  • Check the good implementation of the Quality Assurance System, including more specifically the handling and storage on site of the material
  • Controls the material on site delivery and establishes damages reports if necessary in compliance with the Alstom Transport procedures.
  • Invite (through the Deputy Construction Manager) the client to the Witness Points as defined in the Installation Procedures, with interface with Quality Department
  • Manage non-conformities relating to these activities
  • Report to the Construction manager on the progress of jobs with which he is concerne

Overwiew:

  •  Ensure the overall Alstom coordination internally, with the CW partner and all the external stakeholders
  •  Ensure the implementation of progress monitoring concerning the construction activities and compare to planned durations and productivities
  • Consolidate data from all the constructors in order to manage the work scheduling
  • Ensure reporting of construction progress to the Global Works Coordinator and to Alstom Project Management
  •  Keep detailed records of all activities and events that occur in work areas (daily site report updates)
  • Manage communication with the external stakeholders and ensure availability of all the documentation required for construction
  •  Enforce the observance of the Health and Safety Management Plan and Environmental Plan
  • Enforce training of all individuals acting on the field on HSE requirements
  • Monitor the observance of the stipulations laid down in the Project Quality Documentation by the site management team
  • Contribute to the coordination of Testing and Commissioning activities of all the areas still under construction responsibility
  •  Prepare and report the financial budget of the Construction Management group for presentation to upper management
  • Continuously review the project schedule and assess impacts in case of any changes
  •  Maintain communication with the Project Construction Manager
  • Gathering inputs and close coordination with (or direct management of, depending of the Project Org. Chart) Project Traffic Management Team (mainly on Light Rail / Tram projects)
  • Gathering inputs and close coordination with (or direct management of, depending of the Project Org. Chart) Project Working Train Manager 

All about you

  • Technical upper education in electrical or construction domain
  • Validated experience in SIG Installation supervision (at least 4 years for high level of studies and 10 years for medium level).
  • Good understanding of Electrification works activities
  • Good knowledge of the traction and auxiliary energy distribution system, in terms of installation.
  • Good understanding of electrical power supply system related to OCS, PS, EI: design, mounting, testing and commissioning.
  • Good level in English
  • Romanian language mandatory
  • Driving license – compulsory
  • First-aid training would be an advantage
