Could you be the full-time Project Engineering Manager for Track Work in Cluj we’re looking for?

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical leadership and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
You'll take ownership of the technical contractual scope of the Track Works (TW) on the project, ensuring the successful delivery of the TW solution and achieving customer acceptance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Civil Works, Earthing & Bonding, and Noise & Vibration specialists), manage technical risks and mitigation plans, and coordinate transversal engineering activities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing the project TW technical risks and ensuring all technical requirements are captured and addressed throughout the project lifecycle, but also lead the engineering team functionally to drive the project to success.

We’ll look to you for:

•    Managing the project TW solution, including customization and configuration to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) commitments
•    Ensuring all technical requirements are fully captured and addressed throughout the project lifecycle
•    Tracking and managing technical changes and registering them in the configuration management tool
•    Leading and coordinating transversal engineering activities with subsystems like Earthing & Bonding, Civil Works interfaces, and Acoustics
•    Preparing the TW Design Review and defining the criteria for Verification & Validation activities
•    Providing Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for the project
•    Functionally leading the TW project engineering team by allocating tasks, deploying engineering processes, and ensuring follow-up
•    Managing technical interfaces with project teams and providing necessary documentation for procurement, construction, and commissioning
•    Collaborating with relevant teams during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and resolving technical issues during project warranty
•    Supporting knowledge capitalization and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

•    Civil or Mechanical Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (a Master’s in Business Administration or Project Management is preferred)
•    10+ years of experience in TW Engineering, including full project lifecycle deployment
•    Hands-on experience in functional or hierarchical team management
•    Experience with cost and planning control in engineering projects
•    Customer relationship management in contractual situations
•    Knowledge of TW products and solutions across different market segments (Tram, Metro, Mainline) is preferred
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Decision-making ability and problem-solving capability
•    Analytical and critical thinking skills
