Could you be the full-time Product Cost Platform Qlik Sense Expert in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge in a new cutting-edge field where you’ll work alongside dedicated, hard-working, and fun teammates.

 

You’ll be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing Qlik Sense data models, application, and reports, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the Central Design to Cost team, leading design activities, performing data modeling, and helping implement user and functional requirements.

 

As a Qlik Sense Developer specializing in data visualization, you’ll specifically be at the forefront of our efforts to turn complex data into intuitive and visually appealing dashboards and reports. Your role will be critical in driving data-driven decision-making within Alstom.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Develop and maintain Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and reports
  • Manage and control the protocols of the Design to Cost applications hosted in Qlik Sense
  • Design data models to support reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Write Qlik Sense scripts to transform and load data from various data sources into Qlik Sense applications
  • Develop, test and deploy new visualization objects within Qlik Sense
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to application development and performance
  • Create technical documentation for Qlik Sense applications and data models
  • Participate in regular code and design reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
  • Perform technical UAT (user acceptance test) of each developed modules or applications
  • Provide high quality data for decision-making
  • Support team on day to day activities (new reports, KPIs, …)
  • Optimization and maintenance of the existing Qlik Sense applications
  • Train and support application end users

  • 1-2 years of experience in Qlik Sense development, data modeling and reporting
  • Data Modeling and Logical Database Design experience a plus
  • Experience in developing and architecting Qlik Sense solutions in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience in sourcing data from separate systems with a good understanding of their data models and ETL processes
  • Knowledge optimizing the creation of QVDs (Qlik View data)
  • Ability to write complex expressions using set analysis within chart objects
  • Strong communications (verbal and written) and decision-making skills required
  • Develop and translate functional data requirements to assemble datasets and program related business logic
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data visualization and analytics.
  • Results-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
