Could you be the full-time Product Cost Engineer with German in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your data analysis skills and results orientation mindset expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Product Cost Manager based in Cluj-Napoca, and work alongside dedicated, hard-working, and fun teammates.
You'll interact closely with teams across the business (particularly engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain and external suppliers), realize an estimation of the technical cost of the parts / systems defined by the engineering team and, support sourcing team in the negotiation with the suppliers.
Day-to-day, you’ll participate at the creation of the target cost and support the engineering team in the development to cost way of working.
We’ll look to you for:
Based on the Specifications of a family of products:
- Create a cost model on a family of products
- Evaluate the technical cost of the component by using cost model approach
Based on the Design of the component:
- Take assumptions about the industrial processes
- Calculate the technical cost of the component by using the appropriate tool
Contribute to the improvement of the cost métier:
- To be a referent on a process or a family of product
- Share the feedback coming from the supplier
- Formalize the saving opportunities
