Could you be the full-time Performance Efficiency Manager in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain knowledge and digitalization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Andrei TIRLA (Global Functions Support Operations Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside data driven, tool-oriented, continuous improvement mindset teammates.

This job is part of the Rolling Stock & Components Operations Management System organization, within the “central – corporate” team located in Saint-Ouen Headquarters – France.

Operations covers all the Alstom businesses: Rolling Stock & Components, Services, Signaling and Systems & Infrastructure, and the Supply Chain activities as well as the Industrial activities.

The Management System organization ensures end-to-end process consistency, competency development with coherent tools roadmap including Smart Operations.

Smart Operations is the industry 4.0 program for Alstom and is encompassing an innovative and digital transformation program called e-POP (Process & Operations Performance). Its objective is to harness all system-generated data available to improve operational efficiency (with fact-based decision-making process).

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Directly reporting to the Ops Performance & Business Intelligence Manager, your main mission is 1) to animate the monthly KPI process review of Industrial Operations up-to the final review with Industrial Operations VP and 2) to develop and enrich our KPIs /dashboards landscape mainly hosted on Qlik Sense

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

Consolidation, restitution and presentation to the Top Management

 

  • Contribute the monthly reporting calendar for HQ
  • Ensure that all reporting and analytical responsibilities are completed competently in a timely manner by all Industrial Operations functions
  • Consolidate figures and associated comments and restitute them monthly to the Industrial Operations VP

 

KPIs definition & Data Accuracy / Consistency monitoring

 

  • Write KPI sheets, when relevant and make them validated and published
  • Contribute, on a yearly basis (budget time), to the definition of Industrial Operations KPIs’ target
  • Facilitate resolution of data management and data quality issues related to conflicting data ownership, data and rule definition, data availability and data usage

 

Reporting tool Development & Deployment

  • Push for standardization and automation of reports, KPIs & dashboards dedicated to our department managers & top managers
  • Assist consumers of information (end-users) in the use of the available information (KPIs dashboards and reporting tools) and provide end-users access rights
  • Follow-up tools adoption / usage
  • Optimize existing dashboard / reports when relevant
  • Collect BPO needs and be the point of contact between business and developer
  • Based on the roadmap, be the guarantor of the respect of the QCD
  • Collect end-users needs and participate actively in the scoping, design, implementation and testing phases of new reports, KPIs & dashboards
  • On-demand, be able to build ad hoc reporting / extracts to support critical issues resolution

 

External Communication

  • Be the Point of Contact for other Alstom departments for what regards KPIs & Dashboards owned by RSC Operations department (Continuous Improvement, Finance, Quality, PMO, etc.)

  • You have a degree from an engineering school or Business school or university (French or European), with a minimum of 2 years of experience (internship included)
  • You have an experience in business analysis with emphasis on business intelligence, data warehousing, and advanced analytics projects, preferably in industrial operations world (manufacturing, supply chain or services)
  • An experience in Qlik Sense and in Dashboard creation is an asset
  • You have a proven track record of being able to convert business needs into technical requirements
  • You have solid rigor and organizational skills including attention to detail and follow-through, respect of deadlines
  • You have excellent communication, listening, presentation and writing skills (French & English)
  • You are open-minded and able to work well with others in an international environment
  • You are able to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • To satisfy and create added value for your customers (end-users) is key for you
  • You can communicate clearly and concisely to audiences at different levels of the organization
