The role of the Data Management Specialist is to provide support to the Operational Team in the implementation of business strategies by developing, maintaining and continuous improvement of data basis/reports/KPI.
We’ll look to you for:
- Extract information from the company's internal systems and structure the data in an Excel sheet
- Ensure the accuracy for the various processes of the data gathering from region, sites and extraction from system. Accurate consolidation & update of the Central Data Files (including all required sub-processes, reports; and bottom-up data capturing)
- Secure and define the data structuration in order to provide right efficiency to the process
- Compile and consolidate relevant data information coming from regional and functional teams
- Produces and verifies periodic (daily / weekly / monthly) and ad hoc reports
- Defines verification keys for data extracted and processed in reports
- Identifies data quality problems (system errors, parameterization mistakes/changes, etc.) and signals them to the responsible teams
- Collaborates with the local and regional IT team to improve the quality of data from internal systems
- Constantly identifies methods to improve and simplify the flow of data and the way of working with them
- Configure and manage databases (in Excel, Access, Power BI, PPT) to allow the automatic generation of reports
- It optimizes the performance of queries to increase the productivity of the department
- Provides teams with technical expertise in creating reports and managing data from the internal BI
- Participates in project meetings to understand the objectives, processes and needs of each project
- Analyzes business requirements and translates them into reports and analyses
- Ensure team members/collaborators are aware of actions and instructions to be followed

- Graduated from University
- 2-3 years of experience in reporting and data analysis
- Solid experience working with large databases
- Extensive knowledge of Excel (VBA, Macro, Power Query)
- Previous experience with BI Tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Power Apps, etc) is an advantage
- Solid experience working with BI systems (building queries, importing / extracting / processing data)
- Knowledge of SAP and Office tools
- Analytics skills
- Attention to details, patience and ability to work with complex files, with many interdependencies
- Fluent in English
- Flexibility in the rapid management of complex and varied information
- Initiative, the ability to find solutions beyond the technical restrictions of internal tools
- Ability to work transversally, with various teams/departments/levels of management
- Structured and organized
- Python knowledge represent an advantage
