Could you be the full-time Material Planner Associate with French we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

 

You'll manage the Alstom’s portfolio of external suppliers for ensuring goods delivery at right time to ensure production continuity. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (procurement, logistics and project teams), anticipating and managing risks by ensuring the accuracy of stock in compliance with stock and logistic constraints, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of expressing delivery needs to suppliers, but also monitor Supplier's performances KPI's while putting in place corrective actions. 

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

 

Material Planner Associate is in charge of Purchase orders processing and managing Suppliers' deliveries according to Production / Operations / Installation requirements.

 

More specifically your responsibilities are to:

 

  • Material scheduling / Define & Control Buy Material Master Data;
  • Material scheduling / Manage Material Availability (missing parts);
  • Manage Specific Conditions for Vendors;
  • Manage Purchasing Document for Stock Items;
  • Manage Acknowledgement of Purchasing Document for Stock Items;
  • Follow-Up Needs Expression & Deliveries;
  • Manage Capacity Self-Declarations;
  • Manage Supply  Chain & Capacity audit;
  • Consolidate Vendor Demand Multi-Business / Multi-Site;
  • Coordinate Delivery Crisis Solving;
  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

  • 1-3 years of experience for Analyst level or 3 to 5 years for Sr Analyst level;
  • Experience in developing and maintaining procurement excellence processes and procedures;
  • Foreign Languages: English and French;
  • Strong knowledge of legal contracting process
  • Ability to business-partner with our most senior stakeholders in multiple functions across the business
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Professional accreditation in sourcing or procurement a plus
