Could you be the full-time IBM DOORS Database Quality Assurance Specialist in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your tools and process support expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Raul Dancu (TSO GFS Senior Team Lead, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside data driven, tool-oriented, continuous improvement mindset teammates. As part of a global team, you will be in touch with colleagues and stakeholders worldwide.

 

You’ll be the referent global expert of the IBM DOORS and Alstom Requirements Management Process, assisting our Engineering team in all global cross-functional groups. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving, you will lead the charge in ensuring the database is following the highest quality standards and structure.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

    • In IBM DOORS database, follow the quality of the projects in term of structure, content and adherence to the internal data-model
    • Maintain structure:
      • Maintain tender and project tracker, assuring the data is up to date
      • Deploy change packages on all the databases making sure they all remain aligned to latest standards
      • Review the projects structure and assess the deviation compared to standard data-model
      • Document the gaps and report to the necessary team
    • Project content:
      • Make sure project setup activities are properly performed
      • Perform requirements quality review
      • Review the baseline management applied on project
      • Prepare the list of standards applicable to the project
    • Library content:
      • Maintain the quality content of internal libraries
      • Prepare clause by clause analysis for documents that are sent to our suppliers

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
    • Relevant experience as System Engineer
    • Experience with Requirements Management
    • INCOSE or IBM DOORS(would be a plus)
    • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Good understanding of databases and how tools work and interact
    • Creative problem-solving ability, with a collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team
    • Capable of constructively challenging engineers and project managers to ensure changes are acknowledged, validated, and deployed based on your feedback
    • Rigorous and structured approach to work
    • Ability to perform thorough and reliable quality checks
    • Skilled at identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or misalignments between documents
    • Autonomous and able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong focus on delivering firsttimeright outcomes
