Could you be the full-time Hedge Controlling Analyst in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply on what will become your continuously developing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You will be responsible for monitoring, checking and performing financial analysis for Alstom's projects, to ensure mitigation of market risk and volatility of international operations, due to Forex fluctuation.
We’ll look to you for:
- Preparing expense summary packs at site level by BC and subdivisions for actuals and forecast;
- Creating new hedges in ATweb;
- Checking documentation before creating new hedges (including non-project-related charges such as group fees, bid costs, etc.);
- Checking SO/POs to ensure hedge rates are updated and identifying unhedged items over a threshold; following up with Project Controllers;
- Performing rollovers/early settlement inputs and following up with Controlling on the schedule plan;
- Preparing recurrent analysis on realized cash flow;
- Performing spot booking in ATweb and bank reconciliation after rollovers/early settlements;
- Checking monetary items for unhedged items;
- Ensuring exposures are uploaded in the hedging tool (ATweb);
- Performing investigations for spot effect identification;
- Performing reconciliations of projects (SAP vs ATweb);
- Investigating GSI functionality/setting issues (tickets, testing) with impact on P&L;
- Handling audit requests;
- Managing ad hoc requests.

- Degree in Finance or Business;
- Minimum 5 years solid finance experience;
- Previous record to report, order to cash experience is a plus;
- Understanding and experience of complex multi-national organizations;
- Good general business understanding;
- Experience in Finance processes and systems;
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent time management and organizational ability;
- Positive and proactive attitude, with resilience under pressure.
