For our Global Procurement Center based in Cluj-Napoca

we are looking for a Hard Inventory Performance & Development Manager



Your Role: 


You will act as an individual contributor with focus on supporting all Supply Chain function globally, while being responsible to implement and co-ordinate the Hard Inventory Management process.



Your Challenges and responsibilities: 


  • Control, maintain and sustain Global Hard Inventory Processes within all businesses (Rolling Stock, Compo, Service, Signaling and Infra)
  • Ensure all Hard Inventory indicators are given on time and consolidate them (for all regions EU, FR, NAM, LAM, APAC, MEA) => transfer to GSS
  • Transfer the KPI extraction to the shared services and follow this topic
  • Follow the shared services for the activity related to Hard Inventory
  • Co-ordinate Hard Inventory KPI definition, data collection and presentation for Global Supply Chain consolidation
  • Responsible to provide the induction to Sites and Regions Supply Chain Managers for all activities and rules related to Hard Inventory
  • Contribute to define Hard Inventory targets per region/business/site
  • Deploy the tools and methodology to improve Hard Inventory management
  • Develop new processes and procedures and ensure all sites apply them
  • Dive all Supply Chain procedures and actualization to fit to organizational changes
  • Ensure data consistency between Supply Chain and Finance
  • Coordinate the Region and the sites on the action plan to reduce the RM and WIP and consolidate the saving
  • Push the other SC pillars to put in place the lever to improve the RM and WIP
  • Responsible to deploy the delivery plan related to Hard Inventory topic





  • Degree in Business or Technical field
  • Advanced level in English language; French would be an advantage
  • +5 yeras' experience in Supply Chain
  • Experience of work in a supplier/customer relationship
  • Ability to deal quickly and effectively with a variety of topics                                                                               
  • Ability to summarize and focus on the critical issues
  • Effective communication
  • Result driven                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Remote and multicultural management
  • Knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP
