Could you be the full-time Group Consolidation Specialist in Cluj-Napoca we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your valuable expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Radu Iepure (Consolidation and Group Controlling Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside with smart, experienced, mature and assertive teammates.

 

You will be involved in all processes of the monthly and annual consolidated financial reporting and lead and coordinate AT Group BS intercompany processes and provide analysis. You will be a partner to the Alstom reporting companies, GFC/local finance organization and internal/external auditors for Alstom Group perimeter.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Coordinate monthly actual AT Balance Sheet intercompany processes with the team members and the regional finance organization;
  • Ensure interco BS matching and resolve errors with GFC/Local accounting;
  • Provide technical and process support to stakeholders for AT-wide ICS tool;
  • Analysis, documentation for mismatches clearing incl deep-dive in GSI ERP;
  • Coordinate with HQ Controlling on common items (PL & BS interco);
  • Aid in Teranga blocking control resolution process (ICS related);
  • Support Consolidation Senior Specialist with P&L reconciliation;
  • Support xBT consolidation late entries booking process;
  • Provide consolidation reports and analysis to the stakeholders to support management decisions;
  • Ad-hoc reporting for own responsibility area as needed;
  • Be a successor for the Senior Specialist in the team;
  • Support Senior Specialist with special projects and initiatives incl. change management and technical support.

 

All about you

  • Finance degree or any other relevant discipline (Finance / Business / Economics related);
  • 5+ years Experience in Finance / Accounting processes and systems;
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of SAP is a plus;
  • Fluent in English, another European language would be a plus;
  • Understanding and experience of general business understanding and complex multi-national organizations;
  • Previous experience in accounting roles (AP, AR, CM, Treasury, GL, CL);
  • Previous experience in Internal Control and Audit is a plus;
  • Advanced tools experience is a plus (SAP GSI, Teranga, Qlikview, Polaris, Power Automate, Power Query);
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving;
  • Communication & Teamwork inside and outside GFC;
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability;
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with resilience under pressure;
  • Strong communication abilities in handling time sensitive topics together with more senior positions (Local / Group);
  • Attention to detail/task oriented mindset;
  • Management of complex topics;
  • Comfort with financial data and ability to transform into clear/concise messages.
