Graduate Buyer with German (Pool) 1

Could you be the full-time Graduate Buyer in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise or in another related process in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside your future colleagues who are dedicated, hard-working fun teammates.

You will be in charge of aiding the buyers in their day-to-day tasks related to procurement operations. You will work closely with teams across the business (particularly the procurement and supply chain/project core teams – procurement teams on site and remote, financial team), while you will manage the correct recording of the quotations and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of recording quotations and pricelists in the system, analyzing demands and maintaining an updated and correct info record for the different materials, but also aiding the buyers with ad hoc procurement related tasks.

We’ll look to you for

• Define & control buy material master data
• Manage specific conditions for vendors
• Manage purchasing document for stock items
• Manage acknowledgement of purchasing document for stock items
• Follow-up needs expression & deliveries
• Manage capacity self-declarations
• Manage supply chain & capacity audit
• Consolidate vendor demand multi-business/multi-site
• Coordinate delivery crisis solving
• Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

• Degree level qualification
• Relevant experience as analyst or senior analyst
• Experience in developing and maintaining procurement excellence processes and procedures
• Foreign Languages: English (mandatory) and one of the following: German, Italian, French, or Spanish
• Strong knowledge of legal contracting process
• Ability to business-partner with our most senior stakeholders in multiple functions across the business
• Project management experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Professional accreditation in sourcing or procurement is a plus
