Could you be the full-time Global Material Demand Planner in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Iulia Sumurducan (ECC Team Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside dedicated, proactive and value-oriented teammates.
As resource involved in Supply Chain activities and way of working related inside Corporate Crisis Management Team strategy, the Global Material Demand Planner will be in charge of managing the external supplier's portfolio.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the external suppliers and with the teams across the business, communicating and aligning mainly with material planners, crisis leaders, supplier delivery performance mangers and procurement responsible.
You’ll specifically ensure goods delivery at right time and place based on Alstom needs while strengthening sites relationship.
We’ll look to you for:
- Analyse Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs:
- ensure application of appropriate communication routine with External Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries ;
- express delivery needs to External Suppliers and obtain the delivery plan for 3m horizon, up until 2FY rolling period;
- track missing parts until stock availability;
- follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects.
- Establish the clear working connection with Procurement POC and Material Planners with common external supplier's portfolio:
- root cause analysis & action plan to improve supplier backlog;
- communicate to site material planners the new delivery dates to be updated in ERP.
- Ensure the execution of the allocation decision:
- communicate to Material Planners the final Allocation Decision in order to reflect the right quantities and maintain an accurate data base;
- communicate to External Supplier the final Allocation Decision in order to ensure the goods delivery at right time and place;
- follow-up the manufacturing plan and deliveries from external supplier as per allocation instructions;
- inform the post allocation team about the status of the deliveries.
- Present to Top Management the status of the supplier, bottlenecks identified and propose actions to mitigate the risks
