Could you be the full-time Global Buyer IT Products & Services in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise and enthusiasm in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Ioana Serban (IS&T Procurement Senior Team Lead, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside with a skilled and passionate team of 14 split in 4 Sub-Commodities: 1. Applications Projects & Services, 2. Software & Licences, 3. Infrastructure & Workplace Services and Transversal Team.

You'll be in charge of running operational Procurement Activities for Sourcing/Commodity IS&T domain. Day-to-day, you’ll be in contact with teams across the business located in Paris Head Quarter, Berlin, Cluj focused on following activities – Procurement, Project Teams, PMO & Compliance teams, Cybersecurity, Legal and Finance managing standard RFXs (RFQ, RFP, RFI), contract creation and contract renewals, follow-up of PR (Purchase Requisitions) and their conversion into PO (Purchase Orders).

 

You’ll specifically take care of :

  • New RFX & quotes
    • Manage RFX (up to 200 K EUR)
    • Run standard negotiations
    • Get new quotes, work on Statements of Work (SOW)
    • Ensure standard terms and conditions are met (e.g. payment terms)
    • Ensure relevant approvals are given

 

  • Contract renewals and changes
    • Initiate renewal process e.g. for telecom and software contracts
    • Manage contract changes
    • Manage rate card ordering
    • Supervise catalog ordering
    • Ensure relevant approvals are given

 

  • Supplier operations
    • Coordinate contract signatures
    • Coordinate with sites and local procurement teams
    • Store contracts
    • Collect and maintain supplier information (Supplier ID sheets)
    • Coordinate supplier creation and changes in order systems
    • Manage resolution of commercial issues (e.g. invoice mismatches)
    • Support supplier onboarding in INSPIRE
    • Support supplier enablement in ARIBA network

 

  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

 

  • Perform reporting
    • Input for team dashboards and KPIs measurements
    • Performance measurements on volumes, savings, etc.

Degree level qualification

Good knowledge of procurement and supply chain

Experience in a relevant position

Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP

Fluency in English and Spanish
