Could you be the full-time Contract Configuration and Change Manufacturing Manager in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Configuration and Change Management (Site Metier), and work alongside dedicated, hard-working, and fun teammates.

You'll interact closely with teams across the business (particularly engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain and external suppliers) and you’ll manage and control CCM activities, documents and tool during the manufacturing phases for any given Project/ Program irrespective of their level.

Day-to-day, you’ll keep the project/program configuration under control and manage changes during the production period of the Project or Program.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Being responsible for CCM activities at the manufacturing site for the project/program;
  • Applying CCM procedures, instructions, templates, etc., and ensuring that project/program team members are trained and follow them;
  • Implementing the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) of the project/program and ensuring that the relevant roles at the manufacturing site comply with it;
  • Reporting and escalating any CCM-related manufacturing issues to the Project/Program Configuration and Change Manager;
  • Reporting on CCM performance indicators;
  • Providing the necessary evidence for Development for Quality (DfQ) Gate execution regarding CCM deliverables to the PrCCM;
  • Performing Configuration Management activities, such as:
    • Ensuring the Data Management Tool is configured to meet configuration needs and aligning quality checks with the Quality team (Industrial, Supplier);
    • Monitoring the recording of As-Built Configuration and Traceability data for each produced unit, ensuring that modifications are implemented according to the plan and timely updated in the data management system;
    • Monitoring the compliance of the As-Built / As-Installed / As-Maintained Configuration Status Accounting Report (CSAR) against the associated Baseline/Target Configuration;
    • Consolidating relevant data and documentation to support configuration traceability and reporting;
  • Performing Change Management activities, such as:
  • Monitoring the execution and implementation phases of the change management process, including the strategy of implementation according to rank of application, schedule, and resource availability;
  • Organizing and facilitating Change Boards for execution and implementation;
  • Ensuring that accelerated processes are correctly applied;
  • Ensuring end-to-end traceability of every approved change request by monitoring associated activities and confirming their closure.

  • Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics);
  • Knowledge of Configuration & Change Management;
  • Production, Supply Chain or Project management in industrial environment;
  • Experience working in an international environment;
  • Desirable: knowledge of railway products, systems and components;
  • Desirable: knowledge of the CCM tools (e.g. SAP, PLM, etc.);
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical project/program stakeholders;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Systematic, rigorous, proactive and well-organized;
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Proficiency in English, German language skills would be a plus.
