Could you be the full-time Continuous Improvement & Performance Specialist with French in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Anamaria Berariu (France Operations Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside passionate and fun teammates.
You'll ensure the effective performance for the Global Procurement Function and the achievement of service delivery requirements. Day-to-day, you will act as business partner to the Global Functions (Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Project Office), Procurement Head of Region/Country Leaders and SSO counterpart, supervising, and ensuring effective procurement activities.
You’ll specifically manage individual performance, build teamwork, initiate, and drive continuous improvement within your team, but also take lead for new initiatives and asses staff training needs.
We’ll look to you for:
Support to operations:
- Assist the Procurement leadership teams to increase the performance, reduce cost function and propose organizational improvements;
- Participate to the Local Procurement management meeting & Dashboard;
- Support the Regional procurement in delivering the performance. Based on KPIs availability lead the routines, and implement appropriate data analysis or action plan to ensure;
- Support the Regional CI Manager in gathering the local Sourcing Performance needs;
- Contribute to the Procurement Transformation & Efficiency simplification plan deploying common standard Way of Working (WoW);
- Ensure that standard processes are known and applied in his area through regular communications, surveys and Return Of Experience (REX);
- Ensure data preparation for the Monthly Procurement Dashboards and follow the associated actions plan.
Procurement Performance:
- Contribute to the Change Management in Region for topics related to Method & Tools;
- Interact with the BPO & Subject Matter Expert (i.e: ASIP, ORCHESTRA, SAP GSI, ARIBA, Digital, QLIK) whenever necessary;
- Secure the monitoring of Action Plan and Problem Solving;
- Ensure alignment with Alstom strategy, consistency with Procurement Maturity Roadmap, and proper integration;
- Formalize business requirements to the BPO relative to new needs;
- Ensure the good level of usage of the Procurement tools;
- Manage the actions plan required to improve the performance usage rate of the Procurement processes & tools;
- Contribute to the change management following the Tools Project deployment.
APSYS Procurement and other audits:
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct;
- Support in defining the Internal Control Questionnaire key items to be assessed with Internal Control teams;
- Involved in APSYS Procurement audits in his area (preparation, self-assessments, can perform some audits as Certified Assessor);
- Ensure local action plans are in place with a specific focus on major nonconformities closure;
- Contribute to APSYS Procurement referential improvement in providing feedback and gap analysis to APSYS Procurement expert.

- Degree level qualification;
- 3-5 years’ experience in project management or Procurement (Site, Region, Commodity);
- Advanced knowledge of Procurement process & tools;
- Continuous improvement / Kaizen background is a plus;
- Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Project knowledges would be a plus;
- Experiences in audit are a plus;
- Fluent English & French with international mindset;
- Strong interpersonal & leadership skills;
- Ability to influence and convince;
- Solid change management skills to lead change across in the Regions & Domains;
- Resilient, pragmatic and solution oriented;
- Reliable, autonomous, results and customer services oriented;
- Strong understanding of the IS&T concepts & tools;
- Demonstrates sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills;
- Strong presentation and editorial skills.
