Could you be the full-time Change Coordinator – Project Procurement in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

 

As a Change Coordinator, you will ensure effective management of all configuration and procurement-related changes within a project. You will guarantee compliance with Alstom’s configuration management standards and maintain alignment between technical, commercial, and contractual requirements throughout the project life cycle. 

 

 

We’ll look to you for

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  1. Change Management Execution
    • Initiate, review, and process Supplier Modification Inquiries (SMI)
      • For Changes requested from AT towards suppliers
      • For Changes requested suppliers towards AT
    • Classify changes according to defined categories
    • Get time and cost input from suppliers for AT requested CRs, from AT for supplier requested CRs
    • Define, together with the project stakeholders, in the CCB-I the rank of application
    • Ensure timely approval and implementation of changes in line with projects milestones

 

  1. Supplier Coordination via Buyers and Material Planners
    • Act as the primary interface for the buyers regarding configuration and change requests

 

  1. Internal Stakeholder Alignment
    • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, PME, and Finance to assess impacts on cost, schedule, and quality
    • Escalate critical changes to the Change Control Board (CCB) and ensure governance adherence

  • Analytical skills for impact assessment (cost, schedule, risk)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • SAP and MS Excel
