Could you be the full-time Buyer with English/French in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Cornelia Detot (Country Team Lead, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside passionate, dedicated, hard-working, and fun teammates.

 

You'll be responsible of the Procurement end-to-end process in a complex manner with a significant impact in managing critical orders, ensuring the production needs, having strong relationship with both local and external stakeholders and by these assuring the delivery of our products to our customers and business profitability.

 

You’ll specifically align with the suppliers on the orders for ensuring best price and needed delivery term, but also manage cases of disagreements. 

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Prepare and launch of Request for Quotation with suppliers;
  • Lead project negotiation;
  • Monitor Procurement project QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Technology) & legal project evolution (First-Article-Inspection, Business Award, Product development);
  • Prepare Business Award / Bid Comparison Chart and secure agreement;
  • Place and manage Purchase order contract in SAP;
  • Update suppliers’ data in SAP and on dedicated platform;
  • Ensure the on-time delivery and quality are secured especially during the ramp-up phase of the project;
  • Consolidate the commodity needs, inputs;
  • Support the elaboration of the commodity strategy;
  • Provide Commitment in Tender Phase in agreement with Commodity Manager;
  • Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions;
  • Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving;
  • Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances);
  • Assess properly all risky suppliers and manage the associated mitigation plan;
  • Manage initial issues before escalation to line manager.

  • Degree level qualification;
  • Experience in a relevant position;
  • Negotiation/Influencing skills, Analytical skills, Process-oriented mind-set, Technical abilities, Very Good Communication and presentation skills;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English/French;
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
