Could you be the full-time Business Intelligence Analyst in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your data analysis and digitalization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Oana MATEI (Process Efficiency & Digital Transformation Senior Team Leader, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside data driven, tool-oriented, continuous improvement mindset teammates.

 

Your mission will be to assist the Quality Methods & Tools Manager in ensuring the quality and driving the various evolutions of tools and KPIs, based on end-user needs, to ensure timely issue resolution and accurate KPIs for monthly performance reviews.

 

You’ll also be accountable for a scope of Qlik Sense Applications in the Quality Scope. Applications are based either on KPIs (Qlik) and/or Quality tools (AOS/GSI sourced data, Quality Portal, Knowledge Management Database, Wall CSS, OdyC, PowerApp flow).

 

You’ll be at the forefront of end-user management. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving, they will lead the charge in enhancing our data analytical capabilities and ensuring the highest quality standards.

 

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • User Management: Provide Qlik Sense application users with the relevant access and support for end users. Host and support the Quality Key Users community.
  • Monthly Reporting and Governance: Manage monthly reminders and quality reporting indicators. Ensure the capture, consolidation, and timely presentation of governance indicators on dashboards for Quality reviews, MOP/McM. Monitor retroactive corrections to avoid data changes.
  • Issue Monitoring and Analysis: Keep a vigilant watch on issues that could potentially impact team operations and projects, ensuring swift and effective action. Support and conduct in-depth analysis of quality performance results to address and resolve critical issues.
  • Application Enhancement and Tool Implementation: Continuously improve existing applications within their accountability, maintain up-to-date documentation, and ensure user-friendly experiences. Oversee the deployment of new analytical tools across all sites, ensuring users are well-equipped through comprehensive training.
  • BI Application Development: Take charge of developing Business Intelligence Applications and data structures, which include:
    • Analyzing requirements from users across different regions/plants/sites.
    • Creating initial prototypes to gather user feedback and ensure comprehension.
    • Designing data structures with the right connectors to each data source.
    • Developing solutions within Qlik Sense (or Power BI) and Power Apps platforms.
    • Demonstrating applications to prospective users and conducting functional tests.
    • Addressing and resolving any user issues, whether they stem from bugs or functional limitations.
    • Maintaining and improving the quality of data within company databases.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in business intelligence or a related field, but young graduates are welcome.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving initiatives.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Qlik Sense and Power Apps.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a focus on innovation and digital transformation.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficient knowledge of BI development tools such as Qlik Sense (Power BI is a plus).
  • Good understanding of databases and data models.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other Microsoft software to create presentations and manage data.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English (French is a plus) to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, enabling autonomous work and efficient management of tasks and projects.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving ability, with a collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
