Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Andrei TIRLA (GPC Regional/Cluster Operations Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside dedicated, proactive and value-oriented teammates.
The A&CD department, Advanced & Creative Design, is in charge of the aesthetics design of the Alstom Rolling Stock products throughout its design, from the call for tender to delivery of the finished product. Located in our center in CLUJ, Romania, we are looking for a Administrative Controller, covering the A&CD worldwide scope.
You will be the Focal point for A&CD worldwide for Finance process deployment (particularly PO/invoice flows between all sites involved) while offering support for analysis and alignment of A&CD project execution & cost.
We’ll look to you to:
- Be the Accounting controller for HQ Central studio (for all costs and finance flows relative to HQ studio)
- Support Sub-System Manager of A&CD in the control & challenge of reported Actuals, Forecasts & Trend to EAC (Equivalent Annual Cost)
- Ensure and monitor the proper cost allocation to projects
- Analyze gaps between FPRs (Financial Performance Reports) and contribute to variation root cause analysis & mitigation plans
- Prepare monthly closing, such as project activities settlement and risk reviews
- Establish necessary dashboards for the reporting of the financial status of projects
- Make sure Finance Rules are understood and deployed. Define the necessary guidelines
- Contribute to the REX (return of experience) on his field and contribute to A&CD capitalization & process improvements
- Promote A&CD way of working and accelerate understanding of A&CD process
- Provide maintenance and service continuity service of the A&CD Finance and Workload tools
- Communicate with other finance teams from sites involved to explain/clarify the flows when needed and solve the issues
- Escalate to A&CD Managers status, evolution and risks related to Finance perspectives

- Master’s in Business School or University equivalent
- 5 yers of experience in finance/controlling, ideally in a similar industry or complex organizations (basic knowledge of project controlling and hourly rates is a plus)
- English & French fluent
- Knowledge of SAP ERP or consolidation tools
- Knowledge of IT tools would be useful (Excel, VBA, Power Query)
- Be able to challenge sub-system team and highly proactive in proposing solutions
- Team spirit & Collaborative management
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker
- Basic overall knowledge of railway products
