Data Cost Analyst

 (Cluj-Napoca, Romania)


Your mission?


You will be part of the Product Cost Platform team and work under the coordination of the Data Cost Engineer. As a Data Cost Analyst, you will work as the interface between the ERPs of the company and the Product Cost Platform, responsible to deliver the Data according to the requirements and at the level of quality requested by the Product Cost Platform. All your activity will be framed by KPIs showing the data quality and the evolution of the action plans under your responsibility.


Your mission also includes:


  • Working closely with the costing resources and supporting them to make sure they have the relevant data for their activities.
  • Working to the continuous improvement of your work, proposing and improving process and tool optimizations and report on the result of it
  • Building, optimizing, maintaining and controlling the Data treatment protocols necessary to extract, correct and format the data as required by the Product Cost Platform
  • Taking responsibility of the interface with the ERPs teams to ensure the compliance of the data with the requirements
  • Taking responsibility of the correction of the data and their segmentation according to the protocols as defined
  • Ensuring through accessible KPIs the transparency of the performances of the PCP including its development, validation and data release planning



Your profile?


You have strong communication and presentation skills, a cost reduction mindset and you’re interested in information technologies and the usage of tools.

You also have:


  • Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant working experience
  • A fluent level in English (also French would be nice to have but not mandatory)
  • Office Pack knowledge with focus on Microsoft Excel
  • VBA knowledge is an advantage
  • ERP hands on experience
  • DMA / Catia / PDM knowledge
  • Qlik package knowledge
  • Data viewer programming or ready to learn would be a plus
  • Working experience in the train industry is a plus
