Welding Engineer (m/f):
Requirements:
- Engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical
- Recognised level C EN 14731 (IWE)
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in industrial method
- Knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of programs: Microsoft Office, Catia
Responsibilities:
- Keeping documentation of welders and operators based on the standards, regulations and quality system documents
- Participation in contract / project reviews in terms of the requirements and design assumptions provided by the customer or own for welding in order to confirm (or make corrections) the feasibility and meet the technical and quality requirements for welding and fusion
- Participation in determining the welding technology applicable to a specific product
- Participation in the development of the Welding Technological Instruction and the preparation of welding technology for its certification by performing tasks resulting from the welding and fusion technology qualification standards
- Creating welding and welding technologies, welding plans, repair instructions (in cooperation with technologists) and welding and welding instructions
- Determination of types, grades, types of requirements for welding auxiliary and auxiliary materials, type of control documents
- Determining the conditions for the management of welding consumables
- Assessment of the weldability of the base material
- Assessment of the suitability of the subcontractor
- Analysis of the causes of nonconformities and initiation of corrective actions
- Participation in determining the type of technological tests for new, modernized and after periodic repairs of welding machines and devices
- Determination of the type and scope of non-destructive, destructive and additional tests for welded joints
- Determining the type and scope of working tests for welded structures and supervision over their implementation, assessment and reporting
- Determining the scope of qualifications of welders for welded structures
- Participation in the documentation of qualification procedures for bonding processes
