Could you be the full-time T&C Engineering Manager in Chorzów we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your testing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Adam (Site Test & Commissioning Director in Chorzów), and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
You'll be the person responsible to manage and develop the team of Testing Methods Engineers preparing W2W & dielectric and Routine Test process in dynamically growing Testing and Commissioning department. No two days are the same, but day-to-day, you’ll ensure interface and perfect working relationship with engineering project team, Site Industrial, Warranty Implementation team, Site Logistics and Industrial Support to Warranty teams, Quality, Site Validation team.
You’ll specifically take care of managing the development and supply of test procedures, facilities and tools for RS sites and depots and continuously optimizing T&C processes.
We’ll look to you for:
- Clear and Exhaustive understanding of the Customer Acceptance Criteria
- Manage the development and supply of test procedures, facilities and tools for RS Test & Commissioning activities
- Ensure that test procedures and tools configuration are managed during the project lifecycle
- Ensure through the V cycle, from the start of the project, with the PrTCM, that all the requirements and risks are identified early and ensure proper mitigation plans are put in place
- Participate in Tenders for providing relevant data/Calculations.
- Define the Standard Operating Procedures with reference to time and monitor deviations.
- Continuously optimizing Standard Operating Procedures
- Implement REX (Return of Experience) from Test & Commissioning phase of the project
- Ensure that industrialization (APSYS - Alstom Production System and TAKT time) of testing procedures is defined and followed systematically and continuously reviewed and improved
- Ensure Interface and perfect working relationship with engineering project team, Site Industrial, Warranty Implementation team, Site Logistics and Industrial Support to Warranty teams, Quality, Site Validation team
- Support the PrTCM, for the implementation and execution of the full customer acceptance plan (including components and subsystems)
- Implement and deploy methods and tools and best practices pointed out at group level
- To manage & optimize the technical activities in order to achieve QCD targets and results commitments
- Ensures T&C procedures comply with EHS Policy and Site EHS Management System
- Participates in EHS activities on shop floor
- Manage and Forecast the test engineering workload and adapt capacity accordingly
- Manage competencies: through identification of critical competencies and ensure right trainings are delivered
- Communicate and cascade information to the site test engineering team
- Manage conflicts and disputes within the department
- Explore and share new solutions improving the T&C activities in partnership with Central T&C

- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical, Control, onboard communications & network systems within process industry, railways or factory automation
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge in IT tools and smart devices
- Be familiar with high risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) requirements
- Have a good technical level in electrical, electronic, mechanical and networks domains
- Familiar with Lean approach for Industrialization
- Strong leadership;
- Result-driven mindset
- Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders (product engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial functions…)
- Ability for negotiation, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
- Ability to work across sites/functions in a multi-cultural environment
- Team spirit approach and good communication skills
